a fren that had fled from australia to Singapore and now in USA.

her son is nnow 8 years old, half angmo and so handsome and cute.

She fled with her child because she knew her bf is planning to retain that child in Aus, send her packing to sg and claim child support.

And apparently, this isnt his first attempt. His other daughter from a phillipino gal same thing. The phillipino gal goes back to Aus on regular basis on travel visa just to see her child. And she always time it with my g/f to go when the guy is out.

Rhonda SG

Aaaaaaaaaargh!!! I wanna shred the kangaroo's knickers!!!

In May 2008, the Aussie immigration dept was processing applications from Dec 2007.

In July 2008, they were STILL processing applications from Dec 2007!

And this morning, I found out that THEY ARE STILL processing applications from Dec 2007!!!!!

What the !!!

there seems to be some bug making its rounds. my temp was so high last night I just barely managed to make it home!

Wah... I think if you live in a welfare state, you'd better be female. All you need to do is get drunk, have a good time in the company of an indiscriminate no. of men, bear children, then just sit back and collect money every fortnight and just let your kids run amok.

Sounds like better than being female in Singapore

And you should see how the losers in the NS forum and SC bitch about females

Hahah

Or wait... maybe ah, they SINGLE-HANDEDLY solve the problem or, they go to their 'brothers'!

By this, does it mean that the imm dept is slow, or that there are many many apps...?? :?

what's wrong with the single handed approach?

Rhonda SG

I think last July or Sep, they raised the criteria and as a result, they received three times the usual no. of applications and that's why they now have a backlog.

Usually, nurses already working here would get the PR before six months, those who apply for the PR through the hospital will get theirs in three months. It's been 10 months for me now! *cusses and kicks the trash bins in the backyard!

udontknowme SG

oh yeah. all that talk about stuff that somehow links back to sex reminds of something my friend was telling me....

last year, someone's roommate had phonesex while her roommate was in the room.

hohum

udontknowme SG

i mean...honestly...wouldnt you feel totally awkward having phone sex with someone else in the room...?????????????????????
